As a Human Resources intern you will have the opportunity to showcase your business acumen while solving HR challenges. Whether it is using data to provide critical insights, building relationships with business partners, or developing a talent strategy, you will be supporting the business and improving process efficiencies. 

This project based rotational program is designed to give exposure into the 4 key pillars of Human Resources (Human Resource Business Partners, Compensation & Benefits, Associate Relations, and Talent Acquisition), in addition to an immersive experience into Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. While this program is project based, it is also designed as a cohort in which you and your fellow interns will collaborate and partner throughout your rotation. This internship will give you the opportunity to explore all parts of HR, provide you the opportunity to develop holistically as a future HR professional, and make lasting connections across all of the Human Resources department.

As an IT Enterprise Risk Services Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and use aspects of technology risk; from CyberSecurity, Data Analytics, Cloud Technology and IT process design. 
What you'll do
Assess cyber security, cloud, operational, and compliance risk and support the execution of detailed review procedures

Sustainability and Factory Compliance Intern


​​​​​​​As a Sustainability and Factory Compliance Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and use aspects of both Environmental Sustainability and Factory Compliance; from supply chain management, auditing, data analysis and strategy creation. You will identify areas in which to improve company ESG messaging to potential internal and external stakeholders. You will identify trends in patterns and data, aggregate and summarize findings, and highlight risks and opportunities. You will conduct analysis and present findings to senior leadership, providing relevant information for informed business planning and decision making.

What you'll do
Evaluate and support Kohl's sustainability initiatives related to energy management, recycling, biodiversity and packaging

Partner with overseas business partners to create & execute facility sustainability strategy models to support Kohl's overall Sustainability goals

Aggregate and summarize Higg Index data using technical tools and relevant business knowledge

Analyze Kohl's corporate governance website & competitor's websites to understand and make recommendations on how to enhance Kohl's ESG presentation

Partner cross functionally with teams and departments throughout the organization

Supply Chain - Industrial Engineer Intern


As an Industrial Engineering Intern you will work at the Kohl's Corporate Office (a corporate position in Milwaukee, WI) or an eFulfillment Center (a field position, either in Plainfield, IN, Etna, Ohio or Monroe, OH). Both roles will offer an opportunity to gain experience in a live retail supply chain environment.

Industrial Engineer Intern - Store Operations & Experience

The Industrial Engineer Intern will work to identify, define, and/or implement process improvement opportunities across store processes and projects. They may use data analytics, in-store observations, and other process analysis tools to study the behaviors of our associates and optimize how they interact with processes, equipment, and technologies on a daily basis. They may also use financial and process analysis to identify company initiatives to invest in and process improvements for existing projects and initiatives being executed within stores. The intern will be responsible for determining how to maximize store and project efficiency while keeping the associate and customer experiences in mind.
