Our stores are at the heart and soul of our company, and during orientation, you will get a glimpse into what makes Kohl's stand out from other retailers. We are excited to welcome you aboard and have outlined a few things to know as you prepare for your first day.

Dress Code Overview

Here at Kohl's you are expected to demonstrate good judgement and professional taste when dressing for work. Clothing and footwear should always be neat and not excessively worn. Check out our dress code guidelines below, effective March 22, 2021.
Solid Black Tops
  • Solid knit or collarless t-shirts
  • Solid blouse, sweater or dress shirt
  • Solid dress (no shorter than 2" above knee)
Black or Blue Denim, Black or Beige Casual Bottoms
  • Jeans
  • Capris (no shorter than mid calf) 
  • Skirts (no shorter than 2" above knee)
Casual or Active Footwear
  • Active (athletic/tennis)
  • Casual, fashion or open heel (clogs)​​​​​​​

*CA Locations: Tops of Any Dark Color are Permitted (e.g., Black, Navy Blue or Dark Gray)
What Kohl's Provides
At orientation, you will be provided with: 
  • Kohl's Branded Re-usable Face Covering
  • Kohl's Lanyard
  • Name Badge​​​

Note: Associates in the state of New York may choose between the Kohl's branded reusable face covering, a Kohl's provided disposable face covering or an associate-provided solid colored face covering. 

* Associates may also wear a medical-grade face covering instead of the Kohl's provided face covering (N95, KN95 or surgical mask).
