What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

Improving company profitability by developing and maintaining effective loss prevention programs to reduce exposure to theft and increase associate awareness.
Overseeing the store’s Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) and product protection programs
Conducting internal investigations, surveillance, and apprehension in compliance with Kohl's guidelines
Developing and supervising loss prevention associates
Conducting inspections to ensure store is in compliance with Kohl's policies and procedures

Who You Are

You have strong and demonstrated interpersonal communication skills. You enjoy working with a cross-functional team of executives and store leaders.

Additional capabilities that will contribute to your success in this role:

Experience in Loss Prevention or educational background in Loss Prevention, security or law enforcement
Knowledge of surveillance and apprehension techniques
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and various other computer programs

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

Conducting surveillance and apprehension of external theft suspects in compliance with Kohl's Ethical Standards and Apprehension Guidelines.
Monitoring customer and associate activities in the store for potential theft of Kohl's assets and taking appropriate action to prevent theft
Assisting in monitoring store compliance with Kohl's policies and procedures on theft deterrence, safety and operational controls
Implementing and promoting store awareness programs addressing theft, safety and operational controls
Completing all statistical and incident reports and maintaining all apprehension and investigation records according to Kohl's standards

Who You Are

You are a strong communicator who can engage in effective dialogue with various levels of management. You have high ethical standards, and adhere to business policies and procedures.

Additional capabilities that will contribute to your success in this role:

Prior experience in Loss Prevention or educational background in Loss Prevention, security or law enforcement preferred
Demonstrated ability to make decisions in stressful situations
Strong verbal and written communication skills, basic math and reading skills and legible handwriting
Ability to spend up to 100% of working time moving around the store
