Field Facilities Specialist

About the Role

Kohl’s is immediately hiring a full-time Field Facilities Specialist to join our team! As a field facilities specialist, you will perform maintenance and general repair services in approximately 10-15 of our Kohl's stores.

Mileage is reimbursed for travel to and from the stores!

What You'll Do

Field Facilities Specialist is a key member of the Kohl’s team, responsible for:

• Performing interior lighting, electrical, plumbing and store repairs 
• Performing exterior maintenance of the building, including building painting, curb/ramp painting, power-washing, and minor Common Area Maintenance repairs of landscaping, signage, and concrete/asphalt
• Identifying interior and exterior maintenance issues that need resolution by exterior vendors and entering those issues into Web Based Facilities Management program for assignment and completion
• Communicating recaps of stores visited, wins/opportunities found, as well as issues resolved on store visits
• Assisting stores with solutions to increase CLEAN presence

Who You Are

Required:

• 2-4 years of prior maintenance work with a strong focus on Door, Plumbing, Electrical and Lighting
• Prior retail or office building maintenance experience
• Familiar with General Maintenance tools and tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a currently registered vehicle
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time with some overnight stays based on store schedule/location

Physical Requirements:

• Moderate lifting – 25 to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to climb/work on ladders up to 12ft in height to address lighting, painting, etc. issues
