Kohl's Stores & Distribution Bonus Eligibility Terms & Conditions

Store Bonus ProgramFIRST BONUS - $100 OR $200:
Current and future non-exempt (hourly) store associates will be eligible to receive a bonus of $100 or $200, depending on average hours worked and provided they meet the criteria below.  All bonus payments are subject to withholding taxes.  Any disputes or interpretations of this Bonus program will be determined by Kohl’s.
  • You must be employed on or before September 25, 2021 and work through October 30, 2021 (First Bonus period).
  • You must be actively employed for the entire Bonus Period to receive a bonus for that period.
  • Associates who actually work an average of 12 or more hours per week between Aug 1, 2021 and (or date of hire, if later than Aug 1 but before Sept 25) and Oct 30, 2021 are eligible to receive $200 for that Bonus Period
  • Associates who actually work an average of less than 12 hours per week (but at least 3 hours average per week) over the course of the same period of time will receive $100 for that Bonus Period.


SECOND BONUS - $100 OR $200: Current and future non-exempt (hourly) store associates will be eligible to receive a bonus of $100 or $200, depending on average hours worked and provided they meet the criteria below.  All bonus payments are subject to withholding taxes.  Any disputes or interpretations of this Bonus program will be determined by Kohl’s.

  • You must be employed on or before October 31, 2021 and work through January 1, 2022 (Second Bonus period).
  • You must be actively employed for the entire Bonus Period to receive a bonus for that period.
  • Associates who actually work an average of 12 or more hours per week between October 31, 2021 (or date of hire, if later than Oct 31 but before Nov 7) and January 1, 2022 are eligible to receive $200 for that Bonus Period.
  • Associates who actually work an average of less than 12 hours per week (but at least 3 hours average per week) over the course of the same period of time will receive $100 for that Bonus Period.

Distribution Bonus Program

Current and future non-exempt (hourly) DC/EFC associates will be eligible to receive a bonus of $300, depending on average hours worked and provided they meet the criteria below. All bonus payments are subject to withholding taxes.Any disputes or interpretations of this Bonus program will be determined by Kohl’s.
  • You must be employed on or before November 7, 2021 and work through December 18, 2021 (Bonus Period).
  • You must be actively employed for the entire Bonus Period.
  • You must actually work an average of 15 or more hours per week over the course of the Bonus Period. 

Store Referral Bonus Program

Referring associates who meet all requirements of Policy 154 Associate Referral Program are eligible to receive this bonus if they also meet the following criteria:

  • Referring associates must be a current store non-exempt associate in the same location they are referring a candidate
  • All regular status & LTE associates are eligible to participate
  • Exempt associates (executives) are not eligible to participate
  • Referring associates must remain active employees of Kohl’s through January 16, 2022 and be active at the time of payout.
  • Referred candidates must be hired between October 10, 2021 and December 18. 2021 and may not have been previously employed by Kohl’s.
  • Referred candidates may not be a relative of a referring associate currently employed by Kohl’s. For this program, relatives are defined as a spouse or domestic partner, parent or guardian, child, and sibling. Referred candidates cannot be active or former Kohl’s associates.
  • Referred candidates cannot be interns, vendors, contractors, or consultants who are currently performing services for Kohl’s or who have performed services for Kohl’s in the twelve (12) months prior to the referral.

Referred candidate must: 

  • Be hired for an LTE or regular, non-LTE position between October 10, 2021 and December 18, 2021. 
  • Referring associates must remain active employees of Kohl’s through January 16, 2022 or the end of assignment date as determined by the Store Manager. 
  • Have completed the hiring process including onboarding and new hire paperwork no later than December 18, 2021.
